John Charest, Sr. Director of Finance

Treasurer and Secretary

Mr. Charest is a financial management professional with over 20 years of experience and accomplishments in both public and venture capital financed companies.  Most recently Mr. Charest was a consultant and Corporate Controller for Qteros, Inc. a venture backed company developing biofuels from cellulosic biomass. 

Prior to Qteros, Mr. Charest was the Director of Finance/Corporate Controller for Artemis Health, Inc., and RenaMed Biologics, Inc., both venture capital backed life sciences companies.  While at these companies, Mr. Charest was instrumental in securing multiple rounds of early and later stage private equity financings. 

Mr. Charest began his career in the life sciences at Genzyme Corp. as the Controller of US Manufacturing and Operations and then Division Controller for the Advanced Biomaterials Division.  Mr. Charest has a BS in Finance from Bentley University.
