John Costantino, Director

Mr. Costantino, a Managing General Partner of NGN Capital LLC, is also a lawyer and CPA admitted to practice in the state of New York. Until 1984 he was Managing Tax Partner in the New York office of Touché Ross & Co., where he was also responsible for domestic and international M&A's.

Mr. Costantino next became President of Integrated Resources Acquisition Corp. He was also a founding shareholder of European Home Products Ltd., which acquired the retail store operations of Singer Sewing Co. in Europe, and Chief Operating Officer of household and cosmetic company Conair Corporation, where he was involved in their going private transaction. For the 14 years prior to his involvement with NGN Capital, he was a founding partner of a private equity fund and merchant banking group.

Mr. Costantino is a co-founder of two biotechnology companies, serving as chairman for one. These companies are involved with commercialization of technology from Rockefeller University and The Scripps Research Institute.

Presently, Mr. Costantino is the Lead Independent Trustee for the General Electric Company's family of mutual funds. He currently serves or previously served on a number of public and private company boards of directors, including Artisan, Artes Medical, Small Bone Innovations (observer) and Power Medical Interventions (observer).

Mr. Costantino's extensive charitable activities include being a trustee and the treasurer of the Neuroscience Institute at The Scripps Research Institute, a trustee of Fordham University, a trustee of the Gregorian University (Rome), and a member of Bishop's Finance Council for the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens. He was a recipient of the 2006 Ellis Island Award.
